Vigilante Injustice, a collaborative album based on The Outlaw Ocean, a New York Times bestseller by Ian Urbina, will be released 13 January 2023 on the Synesthesia Media label.
As an investigative reporter for the New York Times, Urbina was part of a team of journalists that won a 2009 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news reporting. He would later leave the Times to found the non-profit Outlaw Ocean Project.
Urbina also won an Emmy Award in 2022 as Executive Producer of the documentary film ‘Get Away From the Target’.
Inspired by the The Outlaw Ocean, Vigilante Injustice is an 11-track digital album exploring the themes of themes of Urbina’s original work.
